1. Information we collect

• Account data, including Supabase Auth user ID, Google or email-link sign-in address, authentication provider, and login/session metadata.
• Learning data, including saved words, readings, translations, examples, article titles/slugs, saved dates, review attempts, reading history, daily free article access, article events, and feedback. Historical records from the discontinued reading challenge may be retained temporarily for delivery suppression and audit purposes.
• Billing data, including plan, subscription or prepaid-access status, payment provider, provider customer/order/payment identifiers, paid amount and currency, renewal or access-expiry dates, and cancellation/refund state.
• Technical data, including server logs, request metadata, page views, approximate page engagement time, error information, and browser storage used for language, read status, install reminders, and anonymous saved words.

2. Payment information

We do not store full credit card numbers, card security codes, or wallet credentials. Payments are processed by Stripe or Midtrans. Each provider may process payment and device information according to its own terms and privacy policy. We retain only the identifiers and status data needed to confirm payment, grant access, prevent duplicate processing, handle refunds, and provide support.

3. How we use data

• Provide login, saved vocabulary, review, and account features.
• Enforce Free/Plus limits and sync subscription or prepaid-access status.
• Improve article quality, furigana, romaji, translations, and vocabulary explanations.
• Measure aggregate page usage and reading engagement while excluding operator browsers from visitor analytics where configured.
• Protect the service from abuse, fraud, security incidents, and billing errors.
• Respond to support, access, correction, deletion, and billing requests.
• Authentication email addresses are not added to marketing lists or included in product analytics events.
• The reading challenge and its reminder emails have been discontinued. Historical delivery status is stored by Auth user ID and provider message ID without copying the recipient address or email body into the application database.

4. Service providers and international processing

The service may use Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication and database, Cloudflare Turnstile for sign-in abuse prevention, Stripe and Midtrans for payments, Resend for authentication email delivery and legacy delivery-event processing, and OpenAI or Google AI APIs for operator-side article and vocabulary generation. These providers may process data in countries or regions outside where the user lives.

5. Your choices

You can use some reading features without an account, with saved words stored on your device. You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of account-linked data by contacting japantrip.service@gmail.com.

Email-link sign-in creates no password. The address is sent to Supabase Auth only to deliver and verify a short-lived, one-time sign-in link. The app does not persist the address in localStorage or copy it to the public profile table.

The reading challenge has been discontinued and all existing reminder opt-ins have been disabled. Old unsubscribe links remain available temporarily so previously sent messages continue to provide a safe opt-out path.

6. Children

JAPAN Daily Reader is not directed to children under 13. If a country or region requires a higher age threshold or parental consent for digital services, users in that region should use the service only when legally permitted.

• 課金情報: プラン、サブスクリプションまたは期間パスの状態、決済事業者、決済事業者上の顧客・注文・決済ID、金額・通貨、更新日または利用期限、解約・返金状態
• 技術情報: サーバーログ、リクエスト情報、ページ閲覧、概算のページ滞在時間、エラー情報、言語設定・既読状態・インストール案内・匿名利用時の保存単語などに使うブラウザ保存情報

2. 決済情報

当サービスは、完全なクレジットカード番号、セキュリティコード、ウォレット認証情報を保存しません。決済はStripeまたはMidtransにより処理され、各社がそれぞれの規約およびプライバシーポリシーに従って決済情報や端末情報を取り扱う場合があります。当サービスでは、入金確認、利用権付与、重複処理防止、返金対応およびサポートに必要な識別子と状態情報のみを保持します。

3. 利用目的

• ログイン、保存単語、レビュー、アカウント機能を提供するため
• Free/Plusの利用制限を管理し、サブスクリプションまたは期間パスの状態を同期するため
• 記事品質、ふりがな、ローマ字、翻訳、単語説明を改善するため
• 設定された運営者ブラウザを除外しながら、ページ利用状況や読書エンゲージメントを把握するため
• 不正利用、詐欺、セキュリティ事故、課金エラーからサービスを保護するため
• 問い合わせ、開示、訂正、削除、課金に関する依頼へ対応するため
• 認証用メールアドレスをマーケティングリストへ追加したり、プロダクト分析イベントへ含めたりすることはありません
• 読解チャレンジと通知メールは廃止済みです。過去の配信状態は、宛先やメール本文を複製せず、AuthユーザーIDと配信事業者のメッセージIDのみで管理します

4. 外部サービスと国外処理

当サービスは、ホスティングにVercel、認証・データベースにSupabase、ログイン時の不正利用防止にCloudflare Turnstile、決済にStripeおよびMidtrans、認証メール配信および過去の配信イベント処理にResend、運営者側の記事・単語生成補助にOpenAIまたはGoogle AI API等を利用する場合があります。これらの事業者により、ユーザーの居住国または地域以外でデータが処理される場合があります。

5. ユーザーの選択

一部の読解機能はアカウントなしで利用でき、その場合の保存単語は利用端末に保存されます。アカウントに紐づくデータの開示、訂正、エクスポート、削除を希望する場合は japantrip.service@gmail.comまでご連絡ください。

メールリンク認証ではパスワードを作成しません。メールアドレスは、有効期限の短い一回限りのログインリンクの送信・確認のためにのみSupabase Authへ送信され、localStorageや公開プロフィールテーブルには保存しません。

読解チャレンジは廃止し、既存の通知同意もすべて無効化しています。過去に送信したメールから安全に配信停止できるよう、古い配信停止リンクは当面有効な状態を維持します。

6. 子どもの利用

JAPAN Daily Readerは13歳未満の子どもを対象としていません。国または地域により、デジタルサービスの利用により高い年齢制限または保護者の同意が必要な場合、その地域のユーザーは法令上認められる場合にのみ利用してください。
