アプリの「利用停止」と「退会」、戻れる範囲の違い

動画、買い物かいもの、配達などのアプリをしばらく休みやすみたくなった時とき、設定画面に「利用停止りようていし」と「退会たいかい」が並んでいるならんでいると、どちらを押せばよいか迷うことがあります。どちらも今いまの利用りようを止める方向ほうこうの語ですが、止まり方ほうの深さは同じおなじではありません。どちらも丁寧ていねいで静かしずかな言い方ほうに見えるみえるぶん、差がかえって読み取りにくいです。ボタンの位置が近いちかいほど、気分だけで選びえらびやすくなるのもやっかいです。画面がめんを閉じる前まえに指が止まる人ひともいます。

When people want to take a break from an app for videos, shopping, food delivery, or something similar, they may hesitate if the settings screen shows both `suspend use` and `withdraw`. Both expressions point toward stopping present use, but the depth of the stop is not the same. For learners of Japanese especially, both can look polite and quiet, which can make the difference harder to read.

多くおおくのサービスで「利用停止りようていし」は、通知つうちや課金かきん、注文受付など、その時点の利用りようをいったん止める側がわに寄っています。アカウント自体じたい、登録した氏名、過去の履歴りれき、ポイントの土台までは残し、再開さいかいの入口いりぐちをあとに残しておく設計と相性がよいです。動画なら視聴履歴、買いかい物なら配送先、配達ならお気に入りはいりの店みせがそのまま残るのこることがあります。反対に「退会たいかい」は、そのサービスの会員としての関係かんけいを閉じる語として使われつかわれやすく、再ログインだけでは戻らず、ポイント失効や履歴削除、一定期間の再登録制限とつながることがあります。もちろん、実際じっさいの処理はサービスごとに違うちがうので、語感だけで一律に決めるきめるのは危険です。

In many services, `suspend use` leans toward pausing the current activity, such as notifications, billing, or order acceptance. It often fits designs where the account itself, the registered name, past history, and the base for points still remain, leaving an entrance for restarting later. By contrast, `withdraw` is often used as the word for closing the relationship as a member of that service, and people may not be able to return simply by logging in again. It can connect to point loss, history deletion, or a limit on re-registering for a certain period. Of course, the actual processing differs by service, so it is dangerous to decide only from the feel of the words.

だから、本当にほんとうに見るみるべきなのは、言葉ことばのやわらかさではなく、そのボタンのあとに何がなにが残るのこるかです。利用停止なら、料金りょうきん、通知つうち、公開状態こうかいじょうたいのどれが止まり、何がなにが保たれるのか。退会なら、履歴りれき、保存先、連携先れんけいさき、再開方法のどこまでが切れるのか。確認画面に「30日以内なら戻せます」や「ポイントは失われます」といった一文が出るでるなら、そこが判断はんだんの中心ちゅうしんになります。そこが説明文や確認画面に出てでていれば、押すおす前まえの迷いはかなり小さくちいさくできます。設定画面で二つの語が並んでいたら、まず『戻る時ときに何をなにをそのまま残したいのか』を一つひとつ決めてから選ぶえらぶほうが、あとでやり直しにくいなおしにくい操作でも落ち着いておちついて進められます。

That is why the real thing to check is not the softness of the wording, but what remains after pressing the button. If it is `suspend use`, which parts stop and which parts stay: fees, notifications, public visibility? If it is `withdraw`, how far are the history, saved places, linked services, and restart path cut off? If those points are shown in the explanation or confirmation screen, the hesitation before pressing becomes much smaller. When the two expressions appear side by side, it is calmer to decide first what you want to leave untouched for your return later, and only then choose between them.
