When people see `re-entry allowed` at a museum or exhibition, they understand that they can come back in after stepping outside. But if they feel safe after seeing only those words and put their ticket stub deep into their bag, their hands can stop at the entrance when they return. Re-entry itself may be allowed, but what has to be shown can differ by place: a stub, a stamp, or a wristband.
Especially at venues where people can step out to a cafe or garden for a while, the line on the way back may move quickly. At that moment, what the staff want to see first is not the person’s intention to buy again, but whether the same-day entry record is still in hand. If the stub carries a time or a mark for that day, the reservation email on a screen may not be enough.
That is why some people move the ticket stub to a place where they can take it out quickly before they go outside. No long preparation is needed. It is enough to check once whether the entrance area explains what must be shown when returning and which side of the stub should be kept.
